Chantilly Here We Come!

We are on our way to Chantilly for the Craftsmen's Classic™ Art & Craft Festival at the DullesExpo Center in Chantilly, VA.   BRRRRR it is chilly up here and we have seen some snow on the ground as well, but the sun is shining and we are very excited.  We had a busy week of cutting and sewing to make sure we are ready for all you shoppers.  Tomorrow we will spend the day setting up and the show begins on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 10am – 6pm and continues on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10am – 6 pm, and Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 10 am – 5pm.  If you are thinking about or planning on going click here to purchase your tickets online and save $2.00.

After the Show in Chantilly we will be heading to the beach for our next show.  We will be at the Flowertown Festival in Summerville, SC.  Let's just say packing for this trip was interesting, two seasons in two weeks, winter and hopefully summer.

We have been updating the website with a few new things and we are finishing up with some of our fabrics so, if there was something you wanted now is the time to get it before we run out of fabric.  Please keep in mind there may be items at a show that you will not be able to purchase online.  If we have a limited amount of fabric we may only have the fabric at shows and no longer have it on the website.  If you have a question about any items, please email us and we will let you know what is available.  We have updated our 2014 Show Schedule adding the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival in Fernandina Beach, FL the first weekend of May.

First Spring Show of 2014

Wow!  It is hard to believe that we will be leaving for our first show of the year tomorrow.  It has been a crazy winter for us with all the crazy weather.  But we have been busy getting ready for our first Spring Show, Springtime Made in the South!  The show is this weekend in Savannah.  Here is the link to the show website: http://madeinthesouthshows.com/Savannah_Spring_Show.html  feel free to go and check it out.  If you are in the Savannah area and you are looking for something fun to do make sure to stop by and visit us.  We have a few new items and we have brought back some of our spring prints.  We will be continuing to add to our spring collections in the coming weeks.

We hope that you have had a wonderful holiday season.  We are busy getting ready to start another year off right.  We have been cleaning, organizing and unpacking new fabrics for fall.  While organizing we came across some fun old pictures from where this adventure all began.  So, in celebration of that we will be having Throwback Thursdays and posting pictures from the past on Facebook, Instagram and here on the blog.  Makes sure to stop by and visit to see where we came from. 

We have updated our Website and Blog with the 2014 Show Schedule.  We will be off and running with our first spring show in February at the 12th Annual Springtime Made in the South! Show, February 7th – 9th at The Savannah International Trade & Conv. Ctr. in Savannah, GA. 

There will be new spring fabrics coming out as well as ones you may have seen before.  Be sure to note that we will be attending different shows in the Spring than we have in the past.  Check the schedule for any changes and/or additions that may arise.  We still haven't heard back from all of our applications.

The month of November was very busy with shows every weekend.  Unfortunately, I also caught a virus and was very sick and did have to cancel going to the Christmas Made in the South Show in Jacksonville, Florida.  I am sorry that I missed some of you who were looking for me there. 

I have been resting and we have our final show of 2013 this weekend, Market Days at the North Florida Fairgrounds(441 Paul Russell RoadTallahassee, FL 32301).  The show begins on Saturday, December 7th from 10a - 5p with Early Bird Shopping on Saturday from 8a - 10a. The show continues on Sunday, December 8th from 10a - 4p.  If you are in the area stop by and see us.

We have a new item that is available at the show and is also on our website (www.stitchpaint.com) as of yesterday.  Wine Bottle Bags! These are great for the holiday season. You can carry most wine bottles to your holiday outings or use it as a gift bag. They are currently only available in the 4 holiday prints pictured and will be available in the new year in other prints. $25.00  Dimensions: 12" tall, 3 1/2" diameter with an 11 1/2" strap 

Everyday we continue to update the website everyday.  There are still items that need to be updated and added. If you are looking for something specific, please email us and let us know.  If it is a specific print that is no longer on the website please take a picture of the item and attach it to the email.  This will allow us to quickly answer your question.
